A Lego shock absorber is ultimately just a spring and therefore never represents a functioning chassis.
The QUTUS dampers from Yeah Racing take your car to a new level. They come with 3 springs of different strengths and the hardness of the damper can be adjusted to 6 levels. This means that the dampers are not only versatile, but can also be precisely adjusted to the respective application.

A fully-fledged chassis always consists of a chassisspring and a damper (mostly filled with oil). The spring converts shocks into vibrations and the damper dampens them so that the chassis calms down as quickly as possible. Without an oil damper, the car would rock up and down for too long. The car would be very unsettled and would lose traction very quickly.

Cross axes can be chosen depending on the location. If you built the SPACEFRAME. You should use aluminum axles from MetallTechnicParts for the middle section of the base plate. This determines the length of the car. For the rest of the frame you should use. Carbon axles, these are almost 50% lighter. You should also use carbon or aluminum axles in the drive train. Lego axles are too flexible and would begin to swing, resulting in loss of performance and at the expense of the longevity of the parts. Lego axles only make sense on the drive shafts. Due to their flexibility, they can twist easily and can serve as cushioning when starting or braking.
are an absolute must. With a power of 150 W or more, Lego cardan joints break. Metal universal joints last a very long time and are stable up to 600 W.
In the Wheelhub 110T they are interchangeable.
From 150 - 200 W of power it is necessary, at least partially, to rely on metal gears. I drive the F60 motor (at 12V) with 3.8 teeth, gears made of metal, and the 3.24 teeth, gears from Lego. A slight abrasion can be seen after each ride. However, the Lego gears can withstand this.
At higher outputs you have to see whether you should rely entirely on metal gears.
The 22 tooth Lego differential can definitely withstand 500 W. But you have to say that it is possible without thrust washer does not work.
If you want to use clamping building block gears, you should always use Lego. Their gears are not so brittle and do not break.new text

It doesn't necessarily have to be metal.
For lower performance, it is definitely sufficient to just rely on Lego gears. But here too, in the differential, the thrust washer used by Fast Bricks Rc.
A well-built drivetrain must of course be supported. The rule here is to only use good ball bearings and only the number that is actually needed.
Here are 2 examples of good providers.
On the left you can see a 5 aluminum lift arm with ball bearings from Metall Technic Parts. Very well made and good ball bearings.
On the right you can see the 3-series lift arm from TF-Engineering. The lift arm itself is made of ABS plastic and is manufactured using 3D printing. TF-Engineering relies exclusively on very good quality, including the bearings.
The 3-series lift arm is available in different versions and therefore leaves nothing to be desired.

There are also parts that cannot be stored but still need to be lubricated. For example gears and all surfaces that run on each other. This is where the company DRY FLUID comes into play.
With Gear Lube they offer a very powerful and stable ceramic lubricant. Highly Recommended.
An alternative would be Teflon spray, but this doesn't last as long and needs to be reapplied every time you ride.

Integrate motor
Unfortunately the motors are not plug n play.
Wrong, with that Motor adapter and the engine mount gives you everything you need to mount, for example, a T-Motor F60.
The motor adapter only needs to be glued together. The
is not absolutely necessary, but it is much more dimensionally stable at high temperatures.

Depending on the driving style, intended use and engine, the engine can become very hot. Fast Bricks Rc has a solution for this too Fan holder which can accommodate a 30x30mm fan. It is designed in such a way that it can even be integrated into the base plate of the SPACEFRAME fits and still leaves enough space for the drive train.
